American Friends Service Committee - Conflict Resolution Program
Begun in 1992, the Conflict Resolution Program is an outgrowth of peace education efforts undertaken since the 1950's. It facilitates the use of practical and creative nonviolent processes used in the growing field of conflict prevention, resolution, and transformation. With community partners, the Program seeks to address conflict in real and practical ways both locally and internationally. It helps individuals and communities whose lives are intimately affected by persistent problems or extreme violence, to build constructive responses to their disputes.
